James Davis

JEROME

Long-time Jerome, Idaho resident, James Wilburn Davis, died March 12, 2022, at the home of his grandson, James David Davis. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho, on April 18, 1940, to Howard and Gladys Davis.

James married Susan K. Bach on November 4, 1958, in Billings, Montana. She died December 19, 2013, in Jerome.  Mr. Davis lived in Port Orchard, Washington and worked at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington, for more than 35 years. He was also a long-time member of the Gold Wing Road Riders association.

His survivors include three children, Susan Nesmith and Joseph Davis of Jerome, Idaho and Robert J. Davis of Port Orchard, Washington; six grandchildren, James D. Davis of  Jerome, Christopher Nesmith of Elma, Washington, Jennifer Duke of Poulsbo, Washington, Amanda Meyer of Seattle, Washington, Jenna Chui of Seattle, Washington, and Jenissa Coup of Puyallup, Washington, and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Paul Davis on April 17, 1963.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.

In lieu of flowers, etc., the family requests that donations be made to Special Olympics.
