James Sprowls

April 27, 1946 — January 17, 2020

JEROME

It is with profound sadness that I have to say goodbye to my soul mate, best friend, my defender and protector Jim “Jimbo” Sprowls; as does his loving sister, Margaret “Peg” Sprowls of Verone, PA his only sibling.

Jim suffered so much these last years and has been under St. Luke's Hospice care tor two years.  The hospice team did a magnificent job and were such a support to us as was Deacon John of St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Jerome, Idaho.

Jim worked hard all of his life and was very unhappy that he could no longer do so and somehow felt he was “less than” because of that.  But that was so far from the truth.  His presence meant everything to me on a daily basis.

Jim was always “the wind beneath my wings”.  Now he soars like an Eagle in the heavens on his way to his reward with his creator. I miss you so much my “Little Feller” as I so affectionally called him.

Now you can see Dale and your Mother and Father who you talked about all the time and always wanted to call them. Jim wouldn't accept that they had already passed. He just loved them so and they meant so much to him.  I'm sure you are together again talking about happy times that you shared on earth.

Jim loved playing golf and he loved his animals so much. They are confused and looking for you everywhere here at home. You were so kind and generous and didn't think anything of doing without so someone else could be happy. You are my happiness and I don't know how to go it alone without you. Save a place for me alongside you. You are my other half and now I am incomplete. Until we meet again.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Miller; and stepson, Nicolas R. Palmer.

Jim died here in our home on January 17, 2020 and he fought the good fight and I'm sure God has said to Jim, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
