Ruby Gott

WENDELL

Ruby M. Gott was born on July 31, 1941 in Moore, ID.  She passed away on April 4, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho. Ruby was the third born of seven children.  Ruby was raised in Jackson, WY and lived the majority of her life in Blackfoot, ID.

Ruby never met a stranger. She would do absolutely anything for anyone and would often meet others' needs before her own.  Ruby spent her later years between Wendell, ID (from April to October) and Quartzsite, AZ (from October to April). While in Quartzsite, Ruby’s ability to make friends flourished.  She was known for her love of playing the card game 31, and also enjoyed Bunco.  In Wendell, Ruby had a dear group of ladies who always had fun “losing to” and “beating” her in games of 31.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Eugene Moses and Anne Marie Novasad Moses; two of her sisters. Bonnie Wright and Beverly Porta; her granddaughter, KyLee Anne Burns; and nephew, Lance Trescartes.

Ruby is survived by her brother, Russell (Judy) Moses; sisters, Judy (Augustin) Ugalde, Deanna Mason and Linda (Gary) Hedges; her children, Patrick Burns and LeeAnn Gott; 4 grandchildren, Oleva (Zach) Parkes, Daniel (Sarah) Lierman, Sonja Lierman (Carl Lawrence) and Hogan Burns; 1 great grandchild, Brook Parkes; 6 nephews, 7 nieces and several grand dog babies. Ruby also left behind her beloved Yorkie fur babies, Anna and Bella.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Memories and condolences may be shared on Ruby’s memorial webpage at www.farnsworthmortuary.com.
