Anthony “Tony” Edward Pratt lived in Jerome, Idaho for 51 years of his life.
Tony was born January 5, 1952 in Boise, Idaho with his twin brother, Allen Edward. They were adopted by Edward and Lucille Marie (Roth) Pratt. His sister, Louise Marie (Pratt) Skaug, was adopted later into the family. They lived in Fairfield, Idaho, Gooding, Idaho, Hailey, Idaho, Kalispell, Montana and finally settled in Ketchum, Idaho. He went to high school in Ketchum and later attended the College of Southern Idaho for business.
Tony worked for his father at Pratt’s Radio and TV shop growing up. Later in life he worked for Twin Falls Parks and Recreation as a park's maintenance employee. These where his all-time favorite jobs and spoke about how he would have done both for free even, just because of the relationships with coworkers.
Tony met the love of his life in Jerome when Nancy came to visit her sister for the summer. To hear the story from his point of view it was love at first sight. A year and a half later they got married on November 23, 1979, in St. George, Utah. A year fallowing they had their first of four children.
Tony loved fishing, camping, and anything fun related. He also enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, children, grandchildren, his fur babies and his friends. Telling stories was his specialty. Whether it be childhood shenanigans or even work moments, he had a way to engage all in listening and would have you on the edge of your seat.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents; aunts; and uncles.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, of almost 46 years; son, Andrew (Katy) Pratt; daughter, Lori (Ian) Randolph; son, Dominic Pratt; brother, Allen Pratt; sister, Louise Skaug; along with his 10 grandchildren, Kayla, Donna, BradLee, Chloe, Braiden, Steven, Emmett, Hayden, Oakley and baby Randolph.
