Becky Lynn Dockstader

On May 24, 2026, Becky Lynn Dockstader, age 61, of Middleton, Idaho, closed her eyes to this world at St. Luke's in Twin Falls, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and family that adored her.

Becky's life began in Caldwell, Idaho, on May 27, 1964, to her parents, Dick and Joyce. She was a blessing from the start. Her mother was certain she was the cutest baby girl alive, complete with a little curl on top and bright dimples. Exactly one year later, her brother Gregg was born, sharing her special day. Becky walked through life with an open heart, navigating her early years with resilience and growth. Her daughters, Amber and Katie, were her most precious blessings. In 1996, her journey led her to her husband, Wesley Dockstader, and the addition of 2 sons. Becky loved Wyatt and Weston as her own; they were her boys.

For nearly 30 years Wesley and Becky were each other's truest friend. Together they built a home filled with happiness. Becky often expressed care through her cooking. Amber always thought her grilled cheese sandwiches were the best-with golden crisp toast and yummy melted cheese. She will deeply miss the late-night conversations, the listening ear, the tears and laughter shared over those grilled cheeses. Katie will forever hold onto the memory of her mama’s sound advice, steady guidance, the touch of her hand through her hair and the most comfiest, coziest couch beds made from clean sheets, fresh pillow cases and pure love. Her love was baked into every celebration. Wyatt will forever cherish her steadfast support and the special birthday meatloaf she made for him each year, while Weston will always remember his birthday chimichangas—and how Dad would playfully trick her into making a German chocolate cake (his own favorite) on Weston’s big day. More than anything, Wes and their children just hope she knows they know how much she loved them, and how deeply she was loved in return.

Becky had a passion for the outdoors and loved camping, frequently heading out with Wes, Jolene, and Grandma Dallas, with Garden Valley holding a place as one of their favorite spots. She and Papa looked forward to taking their grandkids on a camping trip each year. Her grandchildren always felt special in her presence. They also loved the holidays with her, which meant a home filled with her homemade sugar cookies that they got to decorate, and popcorn balls.

Becky had recently taken a course for work to become a Traffic Control Supervisor. She was loved by all her coworkers, supervisors, contractors and each passerby. She made sure the people she worked with or anyone on jobsite had what they needed to be warm and they weren’t going to go hungry. She’d cook dinner for 2 or 15. Her absence at work is felt by everyone.

Becky's memory will be cherished forever and her presence will forever be longed for by her husband, Wesley; her parents, Joyce Wilder, Dick Zehr and Phyllis Indart; her brothers, Gregg Zehr and Rick (Monica) Zehr; her sister-in-law, Jolene Dockstader; her children, Amber (David) Baird, Katie (Dewayne) Carrell, Wyatt Dockstader, and Weston (Kyra) Dockstader; her grandchildren, Kason (Abrielle), Karly, Ryan (Christina), Luke, Troy, Lillian, Reagan, Lincoln, Aubrey and Ruby; and her great-grandchildren, Tony, Oaklee, Niyah, Elias, Rylee, and Brynlee. She will be remembered by her step-siblings, John Indart, Marie Flores, and Robert Indart; her best friend, Susie Bailey; and her aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was welcomed into heaven by those who preceded her in death: her grandparents, Melvin and Jesse Zehr and Troy and Leta Nation; her uncle, Joe Zehr; her father-in-law, Duane Dockstader; her mother-in-law, Dallas Dockstader; her cousin, Gail Anderson; her sister-in-law, Roxanne Gunner; and her nephew, Jake Snowball.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, ID. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Becky's life at the Elk's Lodge in Caldwell. Flowers may be sent to Flahiff Funeral Chapel.
