Gayline Bonnie Stokley died May 24, 2026, at her home in Jerome, Idaho, after a long battle with COPD and heart issues.
Born April 26, 1964, in Gooding, Idaho, to Beauford K. and Erma Pearson, Gayline Bonnie Stokley was one of a set of twins. Gayline’s large rural family worked farms in the Magic Valley throughout her childhood. When her parents retired and moved to Nampa in 1977, Gayline moved with them and lived in the Treasure Valley most of her life at the family home in Lakeshore Dr. She graduated from Nampa High School in 1982. She worked various jobs in the service industry and lived with and cared for her mother Erma until Erma passed in 2012. She married Rick Friel, they later divorced.
Gayline lived her final years in the home of her sister, Marjorie Cutler, and her extended family in Jerome, Idaho.
She is survived by sisters, Barbara Hoskovec, Sandy Lapray, Kathy Aitchison, and Patty Christensen; and brothers, Kenneth Pearson, Michael Pearson, and Donald Pearson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beauford K. and Erma Pearson; sisters, Gwendolyn Loaiza, Marjorie Cutler, twin Nadine Pearson, and Pauline Pearson; and brother, Calvin Pearson.
The family will hold a memorial at a later date.
