Bronson Thomas Ostic passed peacefully from this life on July 11, 2026, at the age of 95, into our loving Savior's arms and the reward his word has promised. Bronson was born in El Paso, Texas, on May 4, 1931, and spent his early life in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
His formal education was cut short at the age of 13 when he left school to help support his ailing grandmother who had raised him. This, perhaps, was the cause of his lifelong curiosity that led him to several trade schools and many self taught occupations: farrier, cement mason, successful professional horse trainer, auctioneer, dairyman, trucker, and bitmaker.
After living in Nevada for a while, he moved the family to Jerome in the late 1960's. Bronson was a faithful Christian soldier for six decades and a member and minister of the Jerome Church of Christ for more than 40 years. Beyond the gospel of Christ, his abiding concern was always centered in his family, wife of 62 years, Elaine; his five children, Fred, Linda (Greer), David, Timothy, and John; his ten grandchildren and soon-to-be nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Jerome Church of Christ, 513 S Buchanan St, Jerome.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to a memorial fund in care of the Jerome Church of Christ.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Bronson's memorial webpage at www.farnsworthmortuary.com.
