Carolyn Sue Hansen, a cherished mother, grandmother, and devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2026, in Kuna, Idaho. Born on July 24, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona, Carolyn’s journey through life was marked by warmth, devotion, and an enduring love for her family.
Carolyn devoted much of her professional life to working as a secretary for an insurance company, where her dedication and meticulous care were evident to all who worked alongside her. Yet, it was beyond the office walls that Carolyn’s true passion shone—she cherished the moments spent with her children and grandchildren, who were at the very center of her world. A spirited player of Gin Rummy, she found joy in the laughter and shared memories built around the game table, creating bonds that would be treasured by her family forever.
Her daughters—April Bailey, Teresa Marie, and Barbara French—stood as pillars of love and support throughout her life, continuing her legacy of kindness and faith. Carolyn’s granddaughter, Jessica Ann, along with her nephew, Britt Titpton, hold dear the gentle spirit and heartfelt affection she so freely gave. These close relationships were a reflection of Carolyn’s generous soul and her unwavering commitment to those she loved.
Throughout her life, Carolyn was grounded by her faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a foundation that offered her comfort, strength, and a community of fellow believers who held her in high regard. Her quiet devotion and steadfast belief served as a guiding light, inspiring those around her and leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew her.
Though we mourn the loss of Carolyn Sue Hansen, we also celebrate a life filled with love, joy, and dedication. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her daughters, granddaughter, nephew, and the many friends and family who were fortunate enough to be touched by her kindness. In the gentle echo of her laughter and the warmth of her embrace, Carolyn’s spirit will remain forever present, a beautiful reminder of a life well-lived and a love deeply given.
