Catherine Patterson

Catherine Jean McNurlin Patterson passed away on January 14, 2017 after a long battle with cancer.  She was born to James B. McNurlin and Geneva M. McNurlin of Jerome on January 10, 1948.

Catherine was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. She was loved by many. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They will tell you she is the best grandma ever!

Catherine worked at Pacific Steel and Recycling for 17 years before retiring. She lived in Jerome on the family homestead where she raised five boys for many years when she met Mark Patterson whom she married in December 1994. They later divorced but stayed in touch and maintained their friendship in which he became her caregiver until the end. The family is very thankful for his compassion and undying love for their mother during this time.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, James and Geneva McNurlin; two brothers, Jess McNurlin and Gary McNurlin; and two sons, Cory Bridwell and Craig Bridwell.

She is survived by her brothers, Ross(Flo) McNurlin and Dean (Chris) McNurlin; sister, Karen (Terry) Riesen; sons, CJ (Christina) Bridwell, Carl (Sue) Bridwell, and Curtis Bridwell; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

At this time, there will be no service.  In the spring we will be having a Celebration of Life for Catherine. A notice will be posted on Facebook sometime in April.
