Dennis Tubbs

Dennis Tubbs died peacefully on June 24, 2026, at Creekside Assisted Living in Jerome, Idaho, the same town that he was born. The first child of Leontina Therisia Tubbs and Jack Leland Tubbs, Dennis was a blessed addition to their family. 

For several years, Dennis was the sole focus of his parent's love and attention. Like many, he learned to ride a bike, play kick-the-can, and was a boy scout, obtaining the scout rating of "Life".  In 1952, his little brother Steve was born. It didn't take long before Steve wanted to be just like his big brother, and tag along with Dennis everywhere. 

Dennis attended at St. Edward School in Twin Falls, where he graduated from eighth grade, and later Jerome High School. From early on, Dennis showed his musical talent and interest. At Jerome High School, he played in a band called "The Syndicate" with Billie Braun, Gary Braun, Mussie Braun and Dell Rupert.

After graduating from Jerome High School, Dennis continued to pursue his musical career with various other bands, including but not limited to the band "Casanova Jack" playing in Stanley, and later with the "Regulators". 

Eventually Dennis returned to Jerome, where he could often be seen walking, or riding his bike to visit his friends. 

Dennis was predeceased by his mother, L. Theresia; and his father, Jack.

He is survived by his brother Steve. Dennis is also blessed to be remembered by staff at Creekside as a loving and kind person.
