Deven Schulz

Jerome- Deven Marie Schulz, 16, of Jerome, passed away with the love of her young life, Baily Helsley, on Monday June 20, 2016, in Jerome, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.  She was born July 29, 1999, in Twin Falls, the daughter of Treena Schulz and Abe Straub.  Deven was raised in Jerome and attended school there.  She was an excellent student and was looking forward to her senior year.  Deven was witty, had an infectious smile and could light up a room.  She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her boyfriend, Baily.  Deven will be remembered as a wonderful daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend and she will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, Treena (Jeremy) Fairchild of Jerome and Abe (Melissa) Straub of Twin Falls;  her brothers and sisters, Brittany (Dustin), Tyler, Aspen, Mercedes, Sierra, Lillie, Gage, Christopher, Katelin and Emmie; her grandparents, Rick and Glenda Schulz, Rick and Louise Straub, Danny and Pam Webb and Allen Jones; her great-grandmother, Bernice Davis; and many extended family members and friends.  Deven and Baily were inseparable in life and are now inseparable forever in eternity.

Deven's life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. , Saturday June 25, 2016, in the Jerome Middle School gymnasium, 520 10th Avenue West, Jerome, with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.  Deven's family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her name at any Pioneer Federal Credit Union branch.  Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome. www.farnsworthmortuary.com
