Ernest Wortman, Jr.

Wendell- Ernest Eugene "Ernie" Wortman, Jr., 95, of Wendell, Idaho, died February 22, 2016, in California, surrounded by his family.

He was born March 23, 1920, in Malden, Massachusetts, to Ernest and Alice Wortman.  Ernie served in the United States Navy during WWII.

He lived many places before settling in Idaho. He enjoyed hiking, boating and fishing.

He is survived by many family members and friends, as well as his beloved dog, Lady.

We will miss the many stories and memories of our Grandfather.

Ernest will be laid to rest beside his wife Lucille.

Graveside services with Military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. , Saturday March 19, 2016 , in the Wendell Cemetery, 501 W Ave B,  Wendell, Idaho.  Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome. www.farnsworthmortuary.com
