Grenda Joy Chavez

Grenda Joy Chavez, age 53, passed away on May 23, 2026. She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, and spent much of her life in Jerome, Idaho, where she touched countless lives with her kindness, faith, and joyful spirit.

She was married to the love of her life, Jose Luis Chavez Valenciana, for 25 wonderful years. Together they built a life filled with love, faith, and family. Grenda was also a devoted mother to her four children, Zandria Christine Anzar, Maria Nicole Macial, Allison Ruth Munoz and Caleb Austin Anzar whom she loved deeply and supported endlessly.

Grenda will always be remembered for her contagious smile and unforgettable laugh that could brighten any room. She found great joy in playing the piano, singing, and cooking for those she loved. A devoted woman of God, Grenda faced life’s storms with unwavering faith, always believing there was a light waiting at the end of the tunnel.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at the Jerome Cemetery, 701 West Avenue I.
