Harold Gale Lewis, 74, of Jerome passed away surrounded by family, Friday, March 31, 2017 due to heart failure. He was born in Wendell, Idaho to Elmer and Dora (Cooley) Lewis. He was the third child of ten and attended school in several states.

Harold worked at the JR Simplot plant in Heyburn. He was a truck driver for mart produce, hauled corn to the Burley plant, and even owned two trucks of his own.

While working at Simplot, he met then married Judy Renee Bingham, on June 23, 1967. They had three sons, Clinton Lane Lewis (Becky), Jason Wade Lewis (Tina), and Brandon Gale Lewis (Darcy); who gave them seven granddaughters, and three grandsons; who then gave them three great grandsons, and one great granddaughter. Harold will be remembered for his love of children, ALL children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; three sisters; and one step-son.

Harold leaves behind his wife of 49 3/4 years, Judy; his three sons and daughters-in-law; his brothers, Ron Lewis, Tom (Dottie) Lewis and Rex Lewis; one sister, Margie Moore; his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous extended family members.

A Celebration of Harold's Life will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
