Janise Luceille Boulware Kerner

Janise Luceille Boulware Kerner, 89, of Jerome, passed away Monday, June 10, 2024. She was born January 7, 1935, in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of William and Margaret Boulware. She attended schools in Shoshone, graduated in 1953, and was a grade school librarian for 35 years.

Janise enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, and hanging out with friends and family. If you were fortunate enough to receive one of many blankets, butterflies, and other items, you knew it was handmade and from the heart.

Janise is survived by her son, David (Val) Kerner, of Jerome; her daughter, Brenda (Gary) Park, of Twin Falls; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Boulware; and siblings, Nell, Charlie, and Mary Faye.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 21, 2024, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
