TWIN FALLS

Jason Luis Santistevan, 49, passed away on November 1, 2025 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He had been living with his girlfriend, Silvia, at the time he passed, whom he loved very much. He was born on February 10, 1976 in Denver, Colorado.

Jason lived a life filled with family bonds, a love for the outdoors and a passion for connecting with others. From an early age, Jason developed a lifelong love for fishing. He found peace and fulfillment in nature. His appreciation for the outdoors extended beyond fishing- he simply loved being outside. Professionally, Jason had a passion for selling cars. He approached this work not just as a job, but as an opportunity to connect with people. Jason loved watching the Denver Broncos.

Jason had two previous marriages. He had two children with Erica Thorson, Beau and Isabella; and then he was married to Amy Plascencia for 16 years, with whom he had four children, Gabriella, Noah, Isaiah, and Elijah. Jason also had a dog, Bruno with Amy and his children and he really loved Bruno. He would take him on really long walks, take him to the dog park, and he loved cuddling with him. Jason was a devoted father to his six children. His children were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was sharing stories, cooking, or enjoying time outside together, Jason found joy in their presence.

He is also remembered with love by his siblings, his twin brother, Aaron Santistevan and his loving wife Sunni Santistevan; brother, Ryan Santistevan (Lucinda); sister, Amber Martinez; and step-sister, Luann Callaway. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Jason’s family was a constant source of strength and companionship throughout his life. He held close the memory of those who preceded him in death which include his father, Larry Jr Santistevan; his mother, Denise Barron Santistevan; and his nephew, Damien Santistevan.

Those who knew Jason will remember him as a loving father, partner, and brother whose presence filled any room with energy and conversation. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and may he continue to inspire moments in all of our lives. We will miss you forever, until we meet again.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am. Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Calvary Episcopal Church, 201 S Adams St, Jerome, Idaho.
