Jennie Moretti

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our little ravioli maker on June 1, 2025, from dementia.

Jennie was born on January 7, 1934, to Giovanni Pacini and Madaline Borboa in Los Banos, California. She was the 6th child of 13 and had to quit school at the end of the 8th grade to work on the family dairy. Milking cows and picking cotton was part of their daily life in central valley, California. 

Jennie left home at age of 17 and moved in with her oldest sister. She worked at the local theatre in Gilroy, CA, and attended Heald College to earn a degree in bookkeeping. In Gilroy, CA, is where she met Arthur Moretti and they were married in June of 1958 and started their family.

Jennie was preceded in death by 10 of her siblings; her mother and father; and her husband Art Moretti.

She is survived by Dino (Bobbie Jo) Moretti, Lawrence (Lanie) Moretti, Arthur Jr (Kyla) Moretti; 4 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 siblings, Carolyn Eubanks and John Pacini.

Jennie’s favorite things to do were to cook for all her family and friends, specializing in Italian food - especially homemade Italian Raviolis.

We would like to give special thanks to Ashley Manor and Visions Hospice in Twin Falls for the excellent care they gave our mother in the last year of her life.

Jennie will be laid to rest with her husband in Challis, ID, and a Celebration of Life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
