With deepest sorrow, we announce Jonah Michael Robinson, age 22, our most beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed suddenly on Thursday, December 4, 2020. On January 25, 1998, in Oceanside, California, a precious blond-haired, blue-eyed boy came into this world. The sweet look upon his face as he came forth made life take on a whole new meaning. Those who knew Jonah, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Jonah loved to skateboard, kayak with his sister, and do other outdoor activities with his mom. Jonah also enjoyed helping his stepdad, Tom, light off fireworks on the 4th of July. When Jonah went to Mesquite, NV to visit his dad and grandparents, they enjoyed many activities together like working on cars and exploring the desert. He loved to swim with his friends in his grandparent’s pool. Jonah's soul was truly awakened with the love he had for animals and people.
Jonah's heart was bigger than you could imagine. He was strong, but not in the ways most people would think. He gave more than he would ever want in return and he loved more deeply than anyone would love themselves. His hugs would warm your heart and his smile would light up a room.
Jonah will be deeply missed everyday by his mother and stepdad, Shawna & Tom Fraser; father and stepmom, Larry & Sandi Robinson; his sister, Rebecca Robinson; his grandparents, Ernest & Linda Salvatore and Neil & Betty Robinson; his aunt and uncle, Raquel & Ryan Mills; his cousins Jenna & Josh Mills; his aunt, Teresa Robinson-Strandinger; and all his other loving family of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many great friends. We are all saddened that
Jonah will not be here with us to welcome his first nephew, Ernest Grey, into the family at his expected arrival in January.
We know Jonah is now in heaven with his Grammy, Joan Salvatore; his great- grandparents, Dempsey and Marian Konda and Ernest Sr. and Madeline Salvatore; along with his special great-aunt, Judi Wakley. Even though Jonah is no longer with us physically, his life made such an impact on us all and he will live on in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
“I thought of you today but that is nothing new, I thought of you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence and often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I will never part, God holds you in his arms, I hold you in my heart.”
We would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Jonah’s Jakers Restaurant family. The love and support you showed will forever be appreciated by his family. Our gratitude and a special thank you is extended to everyone who donated to the GoFundMe for Jonah. The support of all those who are praying for our family is much appreciated.
A celebration of Jonah’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 315 Shoup Ave W, Twin Falls. Masks and social distancing will be required.
In lieu of flowers, please pass on an act of kindness to honor Jonah’s Memory. Rest in peace our little Foodzilla!
