Kathy Hoffer Adams, born September 26, 1956 in American Falls, Idaho received her wings on October 6, 2020 in Twin Falls, Idaho.
She attended school in American Falls and helped her grandparents, Dan and Marie France, on their farm just outside of American Falls. After graduating she took on raising her sister, Linda, as her own child. She was blessed with three more children, Nicki, Dan, and Paul. They later moved to the Magic Valley area. There she became involved in caring for the elderly. She spent many years at MVM in Wendell. Started as NA, CNA, then Activity Director and Administrator.
She later worked doing home health but still found time to go visit special residents at her manor. Her love for caring for others did not stop with the elderly. Along with caring for her sister and her own kids, she helped other kids to stay in school. All of which called her mom and she cared for them as if they were her own.
Her biggest joy was when the grandkids started to come and later great grandkids. She also loved Helping Hands Camp and spending time with family and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by grandparents; mom, Annette Hoffer; adoptive dad, Chris “Shorty” Hoffer; biological dad, Fred Staker; and a grandchild.
