Lara Diane Creasey

On January 11, 2024, at 3:55 a.m., Lara left this earth and returned home into her loving Father’s arms. Lara was born to Jim and Diane Creasey, April 21, 1977 at St Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Growing up, Lara was a very special daughter that had so many amazing qualities. Her grandmother, Margaret, always used to call her my little China doll. The one thing that truly made Lara so special was she always put herself last and would do everything she could to help another person whether she knew them or not. Lara was so caring.

As a young girl, Lara loved to dance in razzmatazz. Lara loved the outdoors and she loved fishing. It didn’t matter if it was Bass fishing with her dad in Lake Powell, or with her nieces and nephews on a river. Lara loved to have the fishing pole in her hands.

Even though she had so many obstacles while on this earth she still was able graduate from Stephen Henninger’s college with a medical assistant degree. After graduation, Lara continued to teach college classes and work at primary children’s hospital. In 2009 Lara moved to Kimberly, Idaho where she lived her remaining years on this earth. Even with several medical illnesses, she never stopped caring for others. Lara loved her parents, especially her mother Diane. They had such a special bond. That love helped her through all of her trials and tribulations. Lara touched people all over the world, she has a special connection to Punjab India where she had a mommy (harcharan), daddy (Surinder) and sister (Preeti) who she loved so much. So many people love Lara and she will be missed.

Lara was preceded in death by her father, Jim; her grandparents, Jerry and Minnie and Margaret and Howard;. and her niece, Melanie.

Lara is survived by her mother, Diane; her brothers, Dave, Danny, Jamie (Jen) and their 4 kids, Scott (Jennifer) and their 6 kids, Josh (Raman) and their son, CJ, her youngest brother, Ben; and sisters, Michon (Jake) and their 4 kids and Julie and her 3 kids. 

If Lara could leave the world with one final message, she would say do not judge anyone unless you have walked in their shoes.
