Leonardo A Naranjo (Don Leo/Lalo), age 60 of Jerome ID, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2026. He was born January 16, 1966, in Harlingen, TX. He was the son of Eloy Naranjo and Refugia Abrego.
He married the love of his life, Jesusa Naranjo, on April 10, 1985. They shared 41 wonderful and adventurous years of making memories.
He dedicated 15 years of his work life to Moss Greenhouse and then moved on to truck driving, delivering all kinds of things like mail or molasses. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan! He constantly had something to keep him busy with all the different projects he was working on. He was willing to help anyone in need and loved to talk to anyone and everyone. He loved joking around and making people laugh with his witty banter.
If he wasn't outside working on projects, you would find him sitting at his computer looking at auction sites or talking on the phone with family and friends. He always wanted a bowl of cereal before bedtime and a daily dose of his popsicle throughout the day, which he loved sharing with his grandbabies. He always had advice or wisdom to share and a joke or two.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Minerva; and brothers, Eugenio and Hector. He is survived by his wife, Jesusa Naranjo; five children, Leo Jr., Jessica, Cassandra, Carmen, and Anna; 16 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; five brothers, Eloy, Robert, Salvador, Felipe, and Gilbert; and two sisters, Maria A. Palomo and Rosa Naranjo.
