Leta June Thomas

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, Miss Leta June Thomas passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born June 18, 1942, in Hooper, Colorado, to Lester and Lila Wills. Miss Leta was one of five kids.

In 1957, Leta met Edgar Thomas, and they became high school sweethearts. In 1960 they married and went on to have five children, Donald, Timothy, Charlotte, Deborah, and Douglas.

Leta loved sitting in front of the fire next to Eddie (Edgar) sewing and spending time with all her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

Leta is survived by two children, Doug and Debi; 10 grandchildren, Lisa, Crystal, Heather, Catrina, Elizabeth, Cathrien, Maddie, Alex, Dakoda, and James; 7 great-grandchildren, Belle, Jazzmen, Enlil (Lisa’s), Bethany (Crystal’s), Elanor (Heather’s), William (James’), and Ariea (Elizabeth’s).

Leta has been reunited with her sweetheart of a husband, Eddie; and her three eldest children, Donald, Tim, and Charlotte.

She will be forever loved and missed more than she will ever know.
