Linda Lee Hays

Linda Lee Hays, 79, of Rupert, Idaho, passed away on November 2, 2026. Born on September 10, 1947, in Wendell, Idaho, to Priscilla and Guy Hays, Linda attended Idaho State University and worked as a nurse for many years.

She enjoyed gardening and always seemed to have fresh tomatoes and cucumbers on hand, along with a beautiful variety of flowers blooming from spring through fall. She cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved attending their sporting events and school activities. Known for her bluntness and fierce independence, Linda left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She is survived by her brothers, Shelley, Karl, and Jeff; her daughter, Alison; her grandchildren, Abigail, Nicholas, Cory, Katie, and Emily; and her great-grandchildren, Maddox, Evelyn, Scarlett, Maximus, Brantley, and Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Hilary, Mary, Jeanie, and Carrie; and her son, Chris.
