Linda Underwood

Jerome- Linda Rose Underwood, 59, passed away at her home on February 5, 2016, in Jerome, Idaho. She was born August 26, 1956, in Blackfoot, Idaho, the daughter of Jim and Evelyn Underwood.

Linda is lovingly remembered by her daughter Stephanie Byrne (Shannon) Douglas and her only grandchild, Amiya Kittlin, along with her parents Jim and Evelyn Underwood, Mike Underwood, Clay and Sharon Underwood, Dan and Debbie Teuscher, and Rick and Lorraine Underwood. Along with so many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends who will miss her.

Her family moved to the Magic Valley when she was 10 years old, where they continue to live in Jerome, Idaho. She graduated from Jerome High School in 1974.  Linda was the manager at the Jerome County Airport for a number of years. She enjoyed her job and had a passion for planes, just like the passion she has for people. She always had that infectious smile on her face. She was a very sweet and genuine woman who would do anything for anyone. With each day, so shines your love.

She is preceded in death by her brothers,  Joe and George Underwood and maternal grandparents Alex and Hannah Duchscher, and paternal grandparents Frank and Emma Underwood. Also other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00pm on February 20, 2016 at the Jerome County Airport 472 A State Hwy 25 Jerome, Idaho, in the Scott Jackson Hangar.  We will need you to park according to the parking attendants and due to FAA regulations no alcohol is allowed on the premises.
