Louis Franklin Vaughn

Richfield- Louis Franklin Vaughn, 96, of Richfield, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 1st, 2015 at the home of his sons, Kim and Beeb Vaughn. Lou was born November 15, 1918 in Richfield, Idaho to Louis R. Vaughn and Flora May Vaughn. While in college in Gooding Idaho, Lou joined the 116th Calvary, and later was drafted into the Army. Lou served several years in WWII, and was stationed overseas during his service. When Lou was discharged from the Army he went to work for Hillside Rodeo Company, where he met Priscilla "Pat" Kimball. They were married June 3rd 1954, they settled in Richfield on Louie's family farm where they raised three sons.

Lou is survived by his sons Kim Vaughn, Beeb Vaughn, and Craig (Robin)Vaughn: Grandsons, Tyrel and Josh; sisters Doris Schied, Loretta Hines, and brother Ralph "Fatsy" Vaughn; and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM , Friday, November 6, 2015, at the Richfield Community Church, 410 South Main Street, Richfield, Idaho. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Richfield Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
