Nicholas Ray Ruiz

Nicholas Ray Ruiz, affectionately known as Nick, passed away on September 4, 2025, in Jerome, Idaho. He was born on August 27, 1950, in Sutherland Springs, Texas, to Juan and Reymunda Ruiz. As the oldest of eight children, Nick consistently exemplified strength and vitality, balancing the responsibilities of being a big brother alongside his joyful spirit.

Nick was a beloved figure in his family and community, always full of jokes and striving to bring a smile to those around him. His vibrant personality extended to loving fast cars, making deals, and enjoying loud music, particularly the energetic sounds of Rock & Roll. Nick had a unique way of expressing his affection; if he assigned you a "weird name," it simply meant he loved you.

He leaves behind a loving family that includes his brother Adolph; sisters Eva, Rose, Janie, and Connie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who didn't get enough time with this strong and funny man. His joyous presence will be profoundly missed.

Nick was preceded in death by both of his parents; sister, Savina; brother, Joe; and nephew Sam, all of whom he cherished dearly.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln Ave, Jerome.
