Paul Green

Jerome- Paul Green, 79, of Jerome, passed away Sunday September 28, 2014, in Twin Falls.  He was born November 20, 1934, in Nyssa, Oregon, the son of Joseph Glen Green and Rozina Leavitt Green.  Paul was raised in Baker, Oregon and Burley, Idaho and attended schools there.  On May 17, 1953, he married Jeraldine "Jerry" Moffett.  They settled in the Magic Valley, where they raised three children.  Paul worked at a variety of jobs including quality control at Sun Seeds and at the Parks and Recreation Service.  He loved cars and guns and going for rides with his family.  He was a lifelong member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Paul will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed.

He is survived by his sweetheart of 61 years, Jerry Green of Jerome; their children, Robin (Pete) Block-Friis, of Oakhurst, CA, Tauna (Joe) Rothermel of Renton, WA, and Paul Wayne (Jessica) Green of Laughlin, NV.  He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; one sister, Carol (Doug) Hawkins of Twin Falls, and many extended family members and friends.  He is preceded in death  by his parents and four brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Friday October 3, 2014, in the Jerome LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 26 North Tiger Drive, Jerome, with Bishop Brian Williams officiating.  A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Twin Falls Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
