Richard Gerald "Jerry" Noble

Twin Falls- Richard Gerald "Jerry" Noble, 68, of Twin Falls, died Sunday November 23, 2014, at the Jordan Valley Medical Center in West Jordan, Utah.  He was born May 7, 1946, in Rupert, Idaho, the son of Richard Arthur Noble and Wilma Mary Duke Noble.  The family moved frequently over the years and finally returned to the Burley area when Jerry was a junior in high school.  He graduated from Burley High School in 1964 where he enjoyed football and wrestling.  He later wrestled in college.  Jerry served a full-time LDS Spanish speaking mission in California and Arizona and then served his country for three years in the United States Marine Corps.  Following an Honorable Discharge, he attended Cal State University at Fullerton and earned a BA in accounting.  He spent 30 years in private accounting at various businesses including Moore's Business Forms, Universal Frozen Foods and Idaho Agronomics.

He married Karla Reesor and from that marriage had three children; Tamara Jean Noble, Tiffany Michelle Noble (Matt) Bowen and Todd Karl Noble.  They were later divorced.  On November 6, 1982, Jerry married Launa Dixon in the Jordan River LDS Temple, where they were sealed for time and all eternity.  Together they raised Launa's daughter, Michelle Perry (Jared) Helms.   Jerry was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in a variety of callings including; Sunday School President, Assistant Scout Master, ward finance clerk, Executive Secretary, counselor in the Bishopric and secretary in High Priest group.  He knew the scriptures and loved the Lord.

Jerry is survived by his wife Launa; daughters Tami, Tiffany and Michelle; grandchildren Xander Anderson, Marquella Anderson, Tyler Bowen, Ashton Bowen and Todd Bowen; his brother Bob (Anne) Noble and his sister Vickie Sue Noble Barney; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Todd Noble.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Friday November 28, 2014, in the Twin Falls LDS 4th Ward Chapel, 667 Harrison St., Twin Falls.  A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls. Arrangements are under the care of Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome.
