Robert Anthony Corr, "Cowboy Bob", 88, passed away February 7, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on November 14, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bob led a remarkable life filled with dedication to his work and love for his family.
Bob served his country with pride, dedicating three years to the United States Army. His sense of duty and honor was unwavering both in his military service and civilian life. After high school, Bob pursued his passion for mechanical engineering and obtained a bachelor's degree that paved the way for a successful career in the field. His commitment to excellence was evident in all aspects of his work as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Bob and Arleda were married on November 9, 1989 in Boise, Idaho and shared 34 wonderful years together.
Outside of work, Bob had a diverse set of hobbies and interests that brought him joy and fulfillment. Whether he was expressing himself through art, spending time with horses, or enjoying the great outdoors while hunting, he always found solace in these activities.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Arleda, of Jerome, Idaho; his son, Rob Corr, of San Antonio, Texas; and his six grandchildren. Together, they will cherish the memories of a kind-hearted man who touched the lives of many.
A Celebration of Cowboy Bob's Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Farnsworth Mortuary in Jerome, Idaho.
Bob will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
