Roger Nutsch

Roger A. Nutsch passed away May 3, 2017 at his home with family surrounding him. Roger was born February 21, 1951 to Raymond and Ursula Nutsch in Wendell, Idaho. After a brief time in Emmett, Idaho the family settled in Jerome where he graduated from Jerome High School in 1971.

Roger was a farmer until he married Susan Jones on December 10, 1975. Then they started their dairy in 1980. Roger enjoyed fishing and camping with his kids and taking the family on many tourabouts. Later he enjoyed the same with his grandkids and also taking them to the mountains on four-wheelers.

Roger leaves behind his wife, Susan of 42 years; three kids, RaeJean Larsen (Raymond); Chad Nutsch (Zondra); and Tammy Nutsch; six grandkids, Zachary, Mark, and Rebecca Larsen and Kincade, Kaberona, and Kennedy Nutsch.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl Nutsch; sister, Mary Ann Barinaga; daughter, Jody Jo; and granddaughter, Alexis Larsen.

The family extends a special thank you to Hospice Visions for all their loving care they gave Roger and his family.

A Vigil service will be held at 7:00 pm, Monday, May 8, 2017 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 216 2nd Ave E, Jerome. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at St. Jerome Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rogers's name to Hospice Visions or Capstone Mission through St. Jerome Catholic Church.
