Ronald Adams

Ronald Lee Adams, 64 of Bliss, Idaho passed away May 20, 2017 in Nampa, Idaho. He was born November 28, 1952 in Los Angeles, California, the fourth child of William and Margaret Adams. He was raised and educated in Taft, California.

In the mid 70's Ron moved with his parents to Gooding, Idaho and went to work for the Beacon Bean Company. In 1979 he met the love of his life, Teri Hinton. On June 28, 1980 Ron and Teri were married at the Bliss Community Church. After their marriage, Ron went to work for the Bliss School District. In 1981 Ron and Teri welcomed Holly, the first of their two girls. In 1983 Rachel completed the family.

Ron had a love for music. He was an accomplished Bass guitar player. Ron played with Jimmy Mac & Blackjacks along with several other local bands. In 1998 Ron found his niche in life as a long-haul truck driver for Willis Shaw Trucking Company. Ron drove for 15 years until he was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2012. In 2013 Ron went to work for Paulin Farms in Gooding weighing trucks.

Ron is survived by his wife, Teri Adams of Bliss, Idaho; his daughters, Holly Adams of Buhl, Idaho; Rachel (Daniel) Garza of Bliss, Idaho; and Jessie (Daniel) Borrayo of Wendell, Idaho; granddaughters, Dilena Rubalcave of Bliss, Idaho and Raven Adams of Buhl, Idaho; mother, Margaret Adams of Taft, California; brother, David (Myara) Adams of Waco, Texas; sisters, Beverly (Bob) Doughty of Bakersfield, California; and Peggy (Gene) Shaffer of Taft, California; 22 nieces and nephews; and numerous kids that he considered family and that called him Dad and Papa.

Ron was preceded in death by his father, William Lee Adams; sister, Sue Holt; and nephew, David Doughty.

A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Bliss Community Church, Bliss, Idaho.
