JEROME

Scott Anthony McEvoy, of Jerome, Idaho, returned to his Heavenly home in the morning of January 28, 2023. He was born to Michael McEvoy and Christina Maxey on April 1, 2000.

A bright spirit whose smile was contagious, Scott lit up every room he walked into and instantly became your friend. He loved to joke around and wasn’t afraid to be goofy. Scott was adventurous and always up for doing just about anything. He loved travel, music, fashion, hanging out with friends, and playing video games with his brother. His interests included rock climbing, working out, boxing, and four wheeling in his Jeep. He was truly a beautiful soul and a loving and thoughtful son.

Scott was born with a severe heart defect, but he never let that slow him down from working hard to become a successful person. He had a magnificent work ethic and always tried his hardest in whatever he was doing.

Scott was a loving, shining light, and such a joy to be around. He is loved by all of his family and friends, and they will always feel immensely proud of him and truly blessed to have known him. He will be forever missed.

He is survived by both his parents and stepmother, Melanie McEvoy; older brother, Michael Tyler McEvoy; and grandparents, Robert and Lupe Hagge. Scott is loved by his aunt, Emma Ward; step aunt, Taunya James; and many other family members. He was preceded in passing by his stepdad, Rick Maxey; and grandmother, Bernice McEvoy.

Scott's life will be honored every time we think of him, see something beautiful, share a smile, and are kind to others.
