Seann Lee Lewis

January 15, 1957 - September 21, 2016

Jerome- Seann Lee Lewis, 59, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to our Heavenly Father peacefully holding her husband's hand on September 21, 2016, in Lubbock, Texas, fighting a short battle with cancer.

She was born January 15, 1957, in Salmon, Idaho, to Alvin S. and Martha McCoy. She was married to the love of her life, David S. Lewis, on August 3, 1974. They had three outgoing and lovable children.

Seann loved to be outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing, horseback riding and being with her family and friends.

Seann is survived by her husband of 42 wonderful years, David Lewis of Jerome;  their children, Martha Rogers of Jerome,  Toni (David) Johnson  of Marana, AZ, and Edgar "Eddie" Lewis also of Jerome.  She is also survived by five wonderful, lovable, outgoing grandchildren, Kenya Lewis,  David (Enola)Rogers, Bert Rogers, Kassie Rogers and Teyler Rogers; one wonderful, beautiful love of her heart great- granddaughter Remi Marie Rogers; her parents, Alvin S. and Martha McCoy of Challis, ID, five brothers and sisters and many extended family members and friends who she loved.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, great- grandparents, and her mother and father-in-law.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. , Saturday, October 8, 2016 , at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome. Her faithful horse, "Little Girl," will carry her to the Jerome Cemetery where she will be laid to rest .

Seann's family suggests that in-lieu of flowers, please donate to a wildlife conservation group or any cancer research center.
