Terry Lee Hansing

Terry Lee Hansing of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away May 15, 2026, at his home.

Terry was born January 18, 1960, in Jerome, Idaho, to Dave Hansing and Joan Scheer Hansing. He grew up and attended school in Wendell, Idaho, and Jerome, Idaho, where he graduated high school. He then attended college at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls, where he obtained an Associate of Applied Science in auto mechanics. He went on to work at Thiessen Motors, The Sound Company, UPS, and Interstate Batteries of Twin Falls. He then went on to work at Jerome Cheese in Jerome for the last 7.5 years.

On November 10, 1999, he met his wife, Susan, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Terry and Susan made their home in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Terry was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Jerome, Idaho. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, old cars, riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, fishing from a boat out onto a lake, traveling, and going on road trips down the Oregon Coast. He absolutely loved his football, especially the Boise State Broncos.

Terry is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Melissa (Jorge) Palafox; sons, Michael (Jenn) Likes and Patrick (Bethanie) Likes; mom, Joan Hansing; brothers, David Hansing and Danny Hansing; sisters, Judy Styhl and Shannon Andreason; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandson

Terry was preceded in death by his dad, Dave Hansing; grandparents, Ameal and Stella Hansing and Frank and Emelia Scheer.

Memorial donations may be made in Terry’s name to Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome, Idaho, or to Susan Torrez, 1943 Shoup Ave East, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, with a viewing beginning at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Burial will conclude at the Jerome Cemetery.
