Theodore Charles Wilson

Ted was raised and attended school in Jerome, Idaho where he graduated from Jerome High School in 1964. After graduation he attended Steven Henagar Business College where he graduated with Business degree. During this time, he also served in the Army National Guard, from 1963-69. After college he went to work for Roper’s in Twin Falls as a salesman/model for men’s clothing. In 1981, after having been the manager at Roper’s for a few years, he decided to work on the family farm just north of Jerome.

Ted married Carla Felton in 1968. They were later divorced in 1992 after separating for about 18 months. During their marriage, Ted and Carla had three sons; Troy, Jason, and Shane. Ted met Flora Burch in late 1991 and they were later married in 1992. Flora brought two sons, Chris and Ty to the family. Ted and Flora farmed in Jerome until 2002 when Ted was forced to stop farming due to health issues. At this point they moved to Wendell where Ted took a part-time position with Idaho State Parks and Recreation in Hagerman.

In 2018, Ted and Flora moved to Challis, ID where they stayed until moving back to Kimberly, ID in 2021. Ted always had a fondness for spending time fishing, hunting, working on old mid-1900’s cars, or watching John Wayne movies with family and friends.

Ted is survived by his wife, Flora Wilson; three sons, Troy and Christie Wilson of Corvallis, OR; Jason Wilson and Andrea Brown of Jerome, ID; and Shane Wilson of Twin Falls; two step-sons, Chris and Charlotte Burch of Idaho Falls, ID; and Tyrel Burch of Twin Falls, ID. He was also a proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren, Brock and Tristan Wilson (Troy); Peyton and Paige Wilson (Jason); Sophia and Sam Wilson and Michelle, Todd and Allyssa Keyes (Shane); Reisha, Nathaniel, Seth, Jessica and Annabelle Burch (Chris); and Dakota and Stetson Burch (Tyrel).

There will be no service per Ted’s wishes.
