Victor Antonio Gonzalez

Victor Antonio Gonzalez, Jr., 11, of Jerome, Idaho unexpectedly passed away on July 13, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born December 17, 2014 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Victor and Morgan Gonzalez.

Little Victor was known to all his family as Beec, as Guero, and as Tony. He was the most special boy his family could ask for. He also earned the nickname Guero from his dad because of his blue eyes and light brown hair that he got from his mom. From the moment he was born, Beec brought joy, laughter, curiosity, and happiness into the world. Beec had a beautiful, gentle, and bright spirit that touched everyone who knew him. Beec loved his family so deeply, especially his dad, mom, big sisters and little brother. The entire family has always been incredibly blessed to know and love such a perfect boy.

Tony completed 5th grade at Frontier Elementary where he was an outstanding student. He bravely ran for a student body position and was voted in by his classmates as Student Body Vice President. Little Victor was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The talents and hobbies of Guero were endless. He played offense and defense, Jersey #9, in football for the North Side Football team. Guero was a competitive, competent player who knew the rules of the game and played with his heart, loving the game of football. He also played baseball, Jersey #9, for the North Side Baseball team. Watching Guero play so tough and focused was inspirational to all. His dad and mom wore team jerseys proudly, knowing that Beec was truly a motivated and dedicated team member. He brought genuine enthusiasm to every team he played on.

Guero was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan. He cheered for the Chiefs with all his might. He followed the Chiefs and kept close tabs on all the other teams as well. His love for Kansas City was truly unmatched, and he proudly carried the spirit of a true Chiefs fan.

He has a true love for all sports. He loved and admired Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. He loved watching and playing soccer, he knew the rules of sports and kept track of players being traded, their heights, the scores, and news regarding all teams. Beec as akin to a sports analyst. He enjoyed swimming with his cousins. He loved playing poker and winning money; he really did not like losing his money.

Little Victor had a love for hunting and fishing. He knew all the species of fish and game animals and spoke often of “the big bucks”. He loved the special deer hunt he drew and was very excited to go with his dad and grandpa. Tony caught a fish while camping with his family this summer. He cooked it and ate it, he valued wildlife.

Tony was such a kind person. He had the biggest heart, and never “blew anyone off”, because he cared. He loved being a helper, as he wanted to help and include everyone. He never left anyone out. Tony cared to as questions and be curious. His curiosity led him to ask more questions and truly listen to the answers. He tried his hardest to learn and was a fast learner. Tony was very, very smart and learning came naturally to him. He would be taught something new and perform it perfectly, like 7th grade math. He brought light to every conversation and made everyone feel heard as they talked to him, as they laughed with him, and they played with him, as they taught him, or they simply sat with him.

One of the important things Beec loved was family time. He loved his family, mom, dad, sisters, brother, cousins, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, with his whole heart. He was not shy to say, “Love you!” Guero also enjoyed one-upping his dad every chance he got. He showed his love for his family in every smile, hug, and moment shared. A true miracle and blessing Little Victor was and still is. A beautiful boy.

Tony is survived by his parents; siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. All of whom cherished him so deeply. He was preceded in death by Gary and Judy Hansen and Fernola Tappan.

Victor’s time with us was far too short, but the love he gave will remain forever. Until we meet again Sweet Boy.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, July 20, 2026 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 50 East 100 South, Jerome. Burial will conclude at Jerome Cemetery. Please plan on wearing the color Red in honor of Victor's favorite color.
