Victoria Henry Newlan

Victoria “Vicki” Henry Newlan, 72, of Jerome, passed away April 10, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the many lives she touched throughout her years.

Vicki was born in Alabama, and lived in many other places before making her home in Jerome, Idaho.

Vicki dedicated much of her life to caring for others. Through her years running Grandma’s Daycare, she opened her heart and her home to countless children, many of whom she loved as her own, especially Shaun and Laura Oggard, Kelly, and Gilbert. She also spent many years working as a bus driver for Northside Bus Company and Midland Bus Company in Twin Falls where she became a familiar and friendly face in her community.

Known for her kindness, compassion, and generous spirit, Vicki was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and treasured every moment spent with them. She had a passion for arts and crafts, and was a devoted fan of Alabama football, always cheering Roll Tide!

Vicki is survived by her devoted partner, Olna Newlan; children, Tonya Aguilar, Danielle (Larry) Burgett, Jacob (Rheanna) Henry, and Hope (Raul) Henry; stepdaughters, Amy and Arlynda; stepson, Stanton; along with their children and grandchildren.

She was a proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren, and was a cherished great-grandmother to 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Easton and Hazel Phillips; 5 siblings; and her two beloved grandsons, Manuel and Miguel.

Her legacy of love, care, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and all those whose lives she touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Camozzi Park, 500 Block of East 17th, Jerome.

Memorial donations may be made in Vicki’s name at Farmer’s Bank in Jerome.
