JEROME

Walter Eugene Woolf, of Jerome, Idaho, passed away on August 28, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. He was born to parents, James Arthur Woolf and Alberta Loretta Gemperline, on August 24, 1947, in Springfield, Ohio. He married Jackie Carlyne Peterson, the love of his life, in 1969.

After being stationed across the country with the Navy, Walt and Carlyne settled in Idaho. Walt became caught up in the majestic beauty of Idaho and in as much became an avid outdoorsman. Walt enjoyed such hobbies as camping, fishing, hunting, and competitive archery shooting. He would also enjoy the occasional game of golf. Walt also was a big fan of classical cars, and it would seem like there wasn’t a car or engine he didn’t know about.
