Winnifred Knight

December 12, 1919 ~ November 18, 2021

Winnifred G. Knight, age 101, passed away at home on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Jerome, Idaho with family by her side. Winnifred was born December 12, 1919 in Ada Oklahoma. She was one of seven children born to James Harding Denney and Myrtle Mae Eaton. Winnifred married her high school love, Ralph Knight. She moved to the Magic Valley in 1990 and resided with her two daughters until her passing. Winnifred had two loves in her life: family and Jesus. She is now present and rejoicing with Jesus, but she leaves behind an awesome legacy of 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren. In addition, she had numerous nieces and nephew. Although she had two loves, she did have one fear: worms. Needless to say, she received a lot of teasing from her family which she would laugh along with.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Knight; son Dwayne Knight; three sisters; and one brother. She is survived by six of her seven children, Ron Knight, Darrell Knight, Gary Knight, Beverly Linch, Tommy Knight and Linda Mohr; two younger brothers, James Luvern Denney, 96, and Talbert Denney, 93.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Farnsworth Mortuary, 1343 South Lincoln, Jerome.
