Larry Russell Luper, 74 of Jerome, passed away peacefully with family by his side, October 20, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Twin Falls, from complications of covid.  He was born March 22, 1947 at St. Valentine’s Hospital in Wendell, Idaho to Russell and Juanita Luper.  Larry was raised on a dairy farm in the Appleton District and graduated from Jerome High School in 1965.

After graduation he served 6 years in the Army Reserves. Upon completion of basic training, he worked at Challenge Creamery and customed farmed. He quit the creamery when he purchased his farm and built the dairy. In 2017, they purchased a place at Colson Creek in Shoup, Idaho, where he and Brenda spent many hours fishing. Larry never considered anyone a stranger and enjoyed visiting with everyone and always offered a helping hand to friends and neighbors.
